Confused yet?

With the recent airing of the documentary, The Great Global Warming Swindle, it should surprise no one that the public at large is still utterly confused about Global Warming. The science used during this programme definitely must be questioned. Some of the statements made by the “credible” scientists almost made me laugh. Unfortunately, the channel that this show was originally aired on, BBC channel 4, may have enough influence to help some of the fence sitters get off the fence. After all, if the BBC thinks Global Warming is just a big hoax, then it must be. Is this just another attempt to create a balanced point of view with respect to global warming?

Al Gore and The Green Living Show

With an interesting list of guest speakers lined up, it looks as though the Green Living Show, April 27th to the 29th, will be very interesting.

With the likes of Al Gore, I've got my ticket, George Monbiot, Margaret Atwood, Dr. Roberta Bondar, Dr. David Suzuki and a host of other interesting speakers, the main stage might be the only place I visit. It could be a very long and exciting day.

Swans along the Niagara river

Last Sunday, Feb 25th, we drove from Fort Erie to Niagara Falls along the Parkway. We spotted between 150 to 200 swans. Less than one week later most of the swans had left. Tundra swans were the majority spieces with a smaller showing of trumpeter and mute swans mixed among the crowds.
