Made in Canada solution, designed in America

Look's like our wonderful new government has consulted with our cousins to the south about what would be best for all of us. In what could only be seen as a "carbon" copy of the made in America plan for climate change, our new government has turned it's back on the Kyoto protocol. There is nothing wrong with a made in Canada solution for climate change, as long as it honours the guidelines set out in the protocol that we, as a country, agreed to. Some of the ideas related to the made in America solution almost seem backwards and short sighted. Is that the kind of solution we are looking for? I hope not. Burying GHG and then claiming that you have done something good for the environment may look good to politicians but, it does nothing for the environment. I could go on and on. The new government of Stephen Harper seems to be a government of closed doors and hidden agendas. Looks like we have our work cut out for us.
