100 years of powered flight in Canada.

Today is the 100th anniversary of the first powered flight in Canada.

One hundred years ago today, the AEA Silver Dart, left the cold ice of lake Bras d'Or and took to the sky.

The pilot, J.A.D. McCurdy, was interviewed by the CBC on the 50th anniversary of the flight.
