The second step towards integration.

Yesterday a news story on CTV’s noon news mentioned that the U.S. and Canadian military had signed a reciprocity deal, known formally as the Civil Assistance Plan. This deal allows either government to ask for military assistance during a period of domestic civil disturbance such as, but not limited to: violent storms, health epidemics, terrorist attacks, mass protest, riots and to protect “valuable” property.

The deal, which was signed in Texas on February 14th, 2008 only came to light in the media yesterday. http://www.worldnetdaily.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=57228

This deal is just one of the many “tasks” necessary to bring about the formation of the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America, SPP, http://www.spp-psp.gc.ca/menu-en.aspx. Of course the SPP is the next step in the formation of the North American Union, NAU. The North American Free Trade Agreement, NAFTA, was the first step. NAFTA dealt with economic integration by eliminating trade barriers, whereas SPP deals with integration of economies and law enforcement to promote “national” security, i.e. fortress America. That only leaves the third and final step, political integration. This step is the formation of the NAU. A common currency, common laws, and an “elected” government body will preside over the whole of North America.

Say goodbye to your sovereignty and freedom.

Were are we on peak oil?

An odd “paradox”?

It seems very odd, at least to me, that the very people who would tell us that we should not trust the government and big business because they are lying to us about the existence of a hidden agenda and the coming “new world order”, are the very same people that tell us that we should trust the government and big business when they tell us that man made global warming is just a hoax and not fact.

Is this a case of believe what you want to believe and ignore the rest?

If the Bilderberg group really is bent on world domination, which of course they would deny if you ask them, then why would you believe them when they tell you anthropogenic global warming is just an anti-capitalist hoax?

There is a very real possibility that this group, as well as many other groups and government agents, are in fact planning and working towards a “new world order” in which the non-elected elite will control all countries and their citizens through manipulation, subversion and trickery.

It’s time to wake up and stop listening to the industry funded “grassroots” groups that redirect the cause of global warming in every other direction in an attempt to confuse the issue and prevent us from taking real action against the true destroyers of our environment.

Renewed wave of denier attacks.

There appears to be a new assault on the AGW front.

The deniers have become extremely bold and are now attacking the message and the messenger on all fronts.

Recently the National Post, which I occasionally read just to see how ridiculous their commentary is, spent at least two days with full page articles and letters attacking David Suzuki. The two letters came from the team of Patterson and Ball, both of which denounced the science behind global warming and referred to Suzuki as a tired old crack pot whose message hasn't changed in over 20 years.

Now we have an article in the Toronto Sun loudly denying global warming and making fun of anybody who is "crazy" enough to believe, or worse "preach the gospel" of AGW.
Mr. Goldstien does make on good point though, "Their absurd, disgusting and juvenile attempts to suggest anyone who doesn't bow down before their half-baked ideas, self-righteous prattle and mindless propaganda is comparable to a Holocaust denier, have gone on unchallenged for too long."

Given that the science behind AGW supports the "global warming fanatics" position and thus refutes the "half-baked ideas" that the deniers cling to makes it clear who the real "fanatics" are.

One thing this article does, as well as the others I have read lately, is to make it very clear that the deniers fell that they are gaining more support and that now is the time to “strike”. The call to arms, "have gone on unchallenged for too long" is clearly meant to incite an increase in action amongst the deniers.

Day after day, year after year, decade after decade, while we drag or feet, the warming continues.
